What it takes to start Showing Horses.

Showing horses is a very rewarding experience to those who are dedicated. It requires you to lease or own a horse because you will need to practice regularly to get ready for competition. Most students start out with the walk/trot classes and work toward moving up to the canter and lope classes. Its takes time for you and your horse to come together as a team. Rymar can help you through each step in preparing you and your horse for competition. We also guide you toward shows which fit your riding level.

How well you do will depend on how much time you put into practicing and sharpening your skills as a rider as well as helping your horse with his skills. Besides becoming a better rider and feeling the  thrill and excitement that comes with competing, you will learn patience, responsibility, organization and sportsmanship through your show experience.  You may not always win the class, but doing your own personal best makes you a winner.
