Trail Rides 

Rymar Ranch adjoins the 44,000 acre Withlacoochee State Forest. Upon your arrival at the ranch, you can expect a friendly environment, professional staff and a clean modern equestrian facility.

Rymar Ranch horses are gentle and always beautifully maintained. Whether you are a first time rider or an experienced rider, the trail staff can customize your ride to suit your riding abilities.

We offer one, one and a half and two hour rides in the forest. We can accommodate riders from ages 7 and up.

About the Withlacoochee State Forest………
Once you have ridden through the Withlacoochee forest, you will understand why the World Wide Wildlife Fund has deemed this forest as one of the “Top Ten Coolest Places You’ve Never Seen” in North America.

The forest provides miles of unspoiled natural trails throughout. The forest also consists of rolling hills; limestone caves, mature stands of longleaf pines and live oak trees.This environment has created a habitat that allows generous amounts of light to reach the forest floor, thus creating a collection of under-story foliage.This forest provides a wonderful habitat for several endangered species including the gopher tortoise, the Pileated woodpecker and scrub jay. Also among the inhabitants are white tail deer, coyote, fox, florida panther, fox squirrel, raccoon, armadillo, hawk, bald eagle, wild turkeys and quail just to name a few.

1 hour -----$35.00 + tax
1.5 hour ---$50.00 + tax
2 hours ----$65.00 + tax

Trail rides are available any day of the week by appointment including most
holidays. We require a minimum group of 2 or more riders.
